Samantha Anduze, M.A.
Psychology Extern
Midtown + Virtual

I approach therapy with respect, warmth, and compassion to create a welcoming space where clients feel comfortable sharing and exploring their experiences. My therapeutic style is integrative and client-centered, emphasizing the importance of tailoring the space to best fit each individual. I draw from my training in psychodynamic therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to address my clients' needs. I emphasize the significance of understanding the past to address present concerns and also focus on practical strategies to promote behavioral change.

I am committed to creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment where clients can openly discuss their adversities and how they affect their daily functioning. I am particularly passionate about making psychotherapy more accessible and working with individuals from underserved communities. I have experience working with a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and substance use. My primary objectives are to build a positive therapist-client relationship and ensure that my client's goals are central to the treatment planning process.
