Preparing for the Fourth Trimester: A Care Plan Workshop for Expectant Parents

Welcoming a baby is one of life’s most transformative experiences. While birth plans often only focus on the delivery, the equally important "fourth trimester" is overlooked.  During this critical time, an estimated 15-21% of postpartum individuals experience a Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder (PMAD) This workshop will help expectant parents create a postpartum care plan to manage stress, support mental health, mitigate risk factors that contribute to developing a PMAD, and set their families up for success. 

Workshop Structure:

  • Part 1: Educational Session

    • Led by Dr. Jessica DelNero, a perinatal psychologist, this one hour session covers essentials about the fourth trimester and guides you in crafting your postpartum care plan.

  • Part 2: Individual Consultation

    • A 30-minute one-on-one session with Dr. DelNero to review and finalize your care plan, address questions, and provide personalized feedback.
