Therapy is a collaborative, co-created, and generative process of self-discovery and assemblage. As your therapist, I will help you find new and meaningful ways to express yourself, further develop your voice, and more deeply understand your experiences. We will be creative - embrace the messy, discover what is new, expand what is possible, while also organizing the knowledge gained along the way. It is not only important that I honor your wisdom but that you also grow to do the same.

My practice is informed by psychodynamic, multicultural, emotionally-focused (EFT), and African-centered theories of health, wellness, and treatment. I specialize in supporting individuals and dyads (couples, parent-child dyads, siblings) to uncover, deepen, and strengthen their relationships. I have a specific interest and specialization in working with interracial and multicultural couples along with couples who identify as BIPOC.

Through my work with individuals and dyads, I will hold in mind the various roles, relationships, and systems you inhabit while helping you figure out ways to better understand and navigate your role in these relationships. I believe that belonging is critical to health and wellness. We will work together to make contact with and be in greater harmony with yourself and your community.
