Limited Permit Psychologist
Brooklyn Heights + Virtual
I approach therapy as a collaborative process where we can work together to understand your unique life experiences and provide you with clarity and relief from a range of problems, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, or a general sense of dissatisfaction in life.
I aim to meet patients with warmth, curiosity, and compassion, and I believe that a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is essential for facilitating change and leading to new ways of being, thinking, and relating in the world. My practice is foundationally grounded in relational psychodynamic theory, although I integrate techniques from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness as needed to provide more immediate symptom relief. I have particular expertise in working with individuals struggling with substance abuse, people who have experienced trauma, people of color, and those belonging to the LGBTQ+ community, as well as helping professionals maintain a healthy work-life balance.

I completed my predoctoral internship at New York Harbor VA Healthcare System— Manhattan Campus, where I gained specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for PTSD.
I also hold an undergraduate degree from Harvard, a master's from Oxford, and a law degree from Yale Law School. Prior to becoming a psychologist, I worked as an attorney in New York City.
